MQRC 2085 while setting up a connection to a z/OS Queue Manager

You are setting up an MQ connection to a z/OS Queue Manager and you receive the following error message (either when you save the definition, or when you try to test the connection by selecting the defined connection and clicking on the "Test Connection" button):

MQJE001: Completion Code '2', Reason '2085'.: MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME

If this happens then check what the "Command Queue" is set to on the MQ Connection definition screen (Advance tab). The default is SYSTEM.ADMIN.COMMAND.QUEUE, which works for the distributed platforms, but for z/OS you need to change this to SYSTEM.COMMAND.INPUT. This might be the cause of the 2085 error.
